I made this page for the Round Robin Challenge going on right now at Scraps of Darkness/Elegance. I used papers and embellishments from the December kit. I contained paper and stickers from My Minds eye's new collection Vintage Christmas, and paper and embellishments from Bo Bunny's new collection Silver and Gold. I used this kit, as well as a paper from the September kit by Prima. I used a green spray from my stash, then I stamped all over with white texturez paint from my stash using bubble wrap from a recent package I also used a cap from a bottle to stamp circles. I added rhinestones from my stash. I used the stickers from the kit, but I powdered them so I could add my own pop dots for layers. I also used the noteworthy embellishments that were in the kit, as well as flowers from my stash. Thanks for looking.

I made this page for the Vicky's August Technique challenge going on at Swirlydoos.com. I had to think very hard about to techniques I have never used on a page before, until I realized I had never finger painted on a page before. I poured out the white paint...stuck my fingers in it, and started going around the page...in no particular fashion. Then I dipped my fingers in again to make individual dots all over the page. I have never used cardboard before, so I ripped a piece of of a box, and added the same white paint with my fingers. I added white, gold and green paint to some Dusty Attic chipboard until I liked the look. I then added flowers and chipboard from Prima. I hope you like it. Thanks for having a look.

My camera ran out of battery juice and then my charging cord broke, so I had to take the picture of this scrapbook page with my phone, so not the greatest, but thankfully I found a new charging cord on Amazon and it is being shipped! Thanks for looking.

C'est Magnifique February Sketch Challenge
Here is my take on the C'est Magnifique February Sketch. I used the chipboard frame by Blue Fern included in the February kit. I gave it a white wash technique to kind of give it an aged look, I kept adding white paint and wiping it off until I liked the effect. I used a couple of different papers from the kit by Maja design. I then added some blooms from my stash. There was a beautiful purple Prima vine included in the kit, but it just looked too big for this page. I will use it on another page in the future. There are so many other gorgeous papers included in the kit. I can't wait to use them. I love Maja Design. Thanks for looking.

I changed this photo. I was adding this to my moms wedding album, and I looked at it, and decided the chipboard was too light. I took it off and set it aside to use on a different project. I decided to add a piece of Dusty Attic chipboard, and I like it better. Decide for yourself.
Thanks for looking.

Swirlydoos Ultimate Design Challenge Week 3.
This week the challenge was to use metal tape on a project. This was not my favorite challenge, because I really do not ever use anything that is not designed for scrapbooking. I decided a page with a picture was out of the question, so I decided to make a tag. I went to Lowe's, and bought the tape, and right away I embossed the tape, and then die cut it with a spellbinders iron works motif die. I aged it with Gesso, and different color paints to shabby it up and make it look old. The picture doesn't look right because it shows up white in places and that die cut is old and rustic looking in person.
I used a Tim Holtz for Ranger tag. I stamped with Gesso in no particular fashion. Heat set it. I then inked up the tag with Tim Holts distress inks in Worn Lipstick, Victorian Velvet, and Spun Sugar. The picture again is off because the tag in person is pinker. I added a piece of Kaisercraft paper, a doily, and some lace. Then I added the die cut, and some flowers.

Swirlydoos Ultimate Design Challenge week 2
This week was all about paper layers. Here is my take on the challenge.
I used Kaiser Craft Sweet Nothings collection papers for this page. I also used a piece of Bo Bunny chipboard from the Et Cetera collection. I created a border around my photo with flower cut outs. I also cut out the butterflies from one of the Kaiser Craft papers. I bent the wings for a little dimension. Here are some close up details.
Thanks for taking a look.
